Only stayed 1 night, as we didn't have time, but glad that chose this comfortable hotel. The staff were fantastic, perfect and beautiful location in the region. Moreover, it was near to the grounds, France and high mountains.

Its location a 10-15 minute walking distance from an expansive public park was stunning and super. I would be happy to recommend it.

The rooms here are so cozy and the bed is like sleeping on a cloud ☁️. the location is perfect, you're close to everything you need. Plus, it's super convenient being near the grounds and Alpe D'Huez.

The hotel is located about 1.5 miles from town, offering a pleasant walk along the river. It is also great for cycling, with a dedicated garage area for storing bikes and even a workstand for bike maintenance. The dinners provided were very hearty, and it was enjoyable to eat outside with 15 others.

Cycling shoes are not allowed within the hotel, so it's worth having a pair of slip-on shoes.

The rooms at La Marmotte de la Meije gave me a cozy and homely feeling. I loved waking up to the views of the beautiful mountains surrounding the property. As a solo traveler, I enjoyed having free WiFi in the room. It allowed me to stay connected with my loved ones and share my adventures with them. The quadruple room I stayed in had a parquet floor, which added a touch of elegance to the space. I felt like I was staying in a chic mountain lodge. The double room I stayed in had a spacious wardrobe, which made it easy for me to keep my belongings organized and accessible.

Personally, I found the shared bathrooms a bit inconvenient as I prefer having a private bathroom. However, I understand that some guests may enjoy the social aspect of shared facilities.

my recent stay in le bourg-d'oisans was amazing, but staying at la marmotte de la meije made it even better. the homey atmosphere and friendly hosts really made us feel welcome. their meals were delicious and the communal dinner was a highlight of our stay. highly recommend!
